Laritza Bacallao was born on July 7, l987, in Havana and she began her precocious artistic life at the age of five when she went on stage for the first time to sing “The Little Mermaid”, the subject of a movie.

from Disney. At just 10 years old, she made her first international tour, to present the show “Cuba Tropical” in Japan.

She graduated from the “Manuel Saumel” music school as an elementary level graduate in Choral Conducting; and after the “Guillermo Tomás”, where she trained as a pianist accompanist.

Her music comes from a family tradition: she is the daughter of Ernesto Bacallao and granddaughter of Felo Bacallao, singers of the emblematic Aragón Orchestra.
