    Carter Frederick Ham[2] (born 16 February ) is a retired United States ArmyGeneral Officer who served as the second commander of United States Africa Command.[3] As commander of Africa Command, he led Operation Odyssey Dawn, the initial United States role in the military intervention in Libya.
